It is too simple to learn, how one should play the blue guitar scale. The masters would definitely feel to most easy and smooth playing. However, playing guitar is an art. It is necessary to be in right hands to get wonderful music and beautiful rhythms. But suppose, it falls in wrong hands then, it will definitely sound unsophisticated as well as atonal. The person with right knowledge of playing blue scale guitar can release wonderful sound similar like an expert. It will make people shock and wondering, how anyone can learn so long about music theory fear. Well, the answer the answer of experts is, you just need to everything about blues scale, which covers every important thing one lesson itself.
The blues guitar scale is almost parallel or alike to that of the minor pentatonic scale. Well, it was resulted with indulgence of the flat fifth. The flat fifth is too unique and different having atonal quality. Well, it almost sounds having evil overtones and almost too dark sounding. Before so many years, it is believed that hundreds of years back the flat fifth was recognized as "The Devil's note". It was banned to use at many different places, it was believed that it invokes the devils.
Now days, people are getting more temperate towards the some of the interesting rhythms and their sounds as well. These interesting sounds are of the flat fifth. the other name given to these sounds are "blue" note. You will find that it has being applied or used everywhere over everything - different sound tracks. It is applied over rock and blues at same time from blues to jazz as well as from heavy metal to different world music.

Customer Review: What a surprise!I live in Austin where Speer plays most often. My wife works with his bass player (he's part time). When he gave her Speer's CD, she gave it to me. I have to admit I let it sit around for a while because I thought it would turn out to be some lame high school band whose dad had enough money to give them to do a CD. Man, was I wrong. This CD is great! If you like the bands the other reviewer mentioned you *will* like this. Since piano dominates most of the songs, I have to say they also remind me of Ben Folds Five. I especially like "Soak The Radio." Enjoy!

This CD rocks. The vocalist James Speer has amazing range and melodies. He is a cross between Jeff Buckley and Peter Gabriel. The music itself is captivating! There are great dynamics from beggining to end. It's almost like a soundtrack. The hits are all over this CD, but the ones that really stand out are 'Blue Bowl', 'View', and 'Already gone'. The rest of the tracks are just as powerful and I keep finding a new favorite every time I listen to the CD. I don't know where this guy came from but I hope to see more material. I went by his website, WWW.SPEERMUSIC.COM, and found that he is only playing in Austin, Tx. I hope that he will go on tour soon. I highly recommend this album if you like the folling artists: COLDPLAY, DAVE MATTHEWS, COUNTING CROWS, PETER GABRIEL, DAVID GRAY, JEFF BUCKLEY, STING
Bharatanatyam is a classical dance form that claims its source from Tamil Nadu, South India. Most of the sculptures in Hindu temples are based on Bharata Natyam dance postures known as karanas. In fact, it is the celestial female dancers or apsaras, who are depicted in many scriptures performing this heavenly dance, known on earth as Bharatanatyam. In the most essential sense, a Hindu deity is revered in royal opulence in his temple and offered a standard set of religious services called arotiks, among which are music and dance that are pleasing to the senses. Bharata Natyam as a dance form and carnatic music set to it are deeply grounded in the devotional mood, Bhakti. Bharata Natyam is said to be the embodiment of music in visual form and an offering of devotion.
Bharatanatyam is the manifestation of the ancient idea of the celebration of the eternal universe through the beauty of the material body.
The physical expressions express a poetic meaning known as Abinaya. It means that the emphasis is more on facial expressions than rhythmic movements. Abinaya is divided into four categories:
1. Angikabhinaya
2. Vachikabhinaya
3. Aharyabhinaya
4. Satvikabhinaya
Angikabhinaya : Expressing the meanings of lyrics through the body parts like Head, Hands, Legs etc.
Vachikabhinaya : Expressing the Story via a dance drama
Aharyabhinaya : Imitating the dresses, Jewellery, Make-up etc. in the dance.
Satvikabhinaya: Showing the devotional moods come under Satvikabhinaya.
Lord Shiva is said to be the embodiment of the 4 types of abinaya.
Kathak is a partly narrated dance form based on fast footwork (tatkar), spins (chakkar) and innovative use of the devotional moods in abhinaya. Today it's more of a form that has been practiced in the past by historical narratives, by kathakas or ancient bards, temple performances and the bhakti movement.
Kathak is an important classical dance in the culture of India, and an increasingly world popular theater art form. The word Kathak comes from katha, which means "pastimes-telling". 'Katha kahey so kathak kahaye', which means one who narrates a pastime through a dance form is a Kathak. Long ago, the performers of kathak known as Kathakars narrated stories in temples of North India. The movement of hands, body and facial expressions used by the Kathakars to enrich the narrative, has given birth to Kathak.
Accoring to history, the earliest reference of this art is found in the Mahabharata, the great epic poem spoken about five thousands years ago. At this early stage the art of Kathak was performed by a group of Brahmins in glorification of the lord.
Change in the Bhakti Era
During the period of fervent worship of Radha and Krishna, Kathak was used to narrate pastimes of these two eternal personalities. Popular performances included Sri Krishna's exploits in the holy land of Vrindavan, and pastimes of Krishna's mischiefs as a child.

Guthrie Govan proves not only to be an amazing guitarist, but also an excellent teacher. This book will have you feeling inspired to say the least. All your life, you have always loved music with a message. So today, I write this article about all music with messages. Over the years that I have listened to music, I have found that music messages make people cry. But that is okay. You will cry for many reasons , and perhaps the best of that is when you cry tears of joy or tears of feeling, the feelings that your words are in that song, perhaps your own message is right there in that song. And perhaps not, perhaps the song is about your friend, your relative, your co-worker, pehaps you hear a song, and you immediately think of someone you know. And perhaps you might think that you might like to know someone like that. Whatever the reason that you love music with a message, this is your own reason.
I write here to day to list some songs with messages, some songs of joy, and other songs of sadness, but every song is the same in that EACH has its own message. Try these songs, and I guarantee you will be moved to tears,to joy, to sadness, to laughter, to stillness, to being stunned, and to being and feeling every bone, spirit, and molecule in your body, but you will feel. I took 17 hours of Spanish during my undergraduate degree, but could not speak Spanish. I could read Spanish, but I could not understand it when spoken. Rosetta Stone takes a different approach to teaching Spanish than my university. It has made understanding and speaking Spanish within my reach. I got the Coldplay 2003 DVD as a birthday present in '04. Coldplay's my favorite band, so you can imagine my excitement. Back in the days, I never thought I could ever be in a real concert of the band, I lived too far away from any place they toured. Almost four years later, I still think the DVD was the best concert in my life. That is, taking into consideration that I went to see them, against all odds, in NYC in 2006. It's not that the concert was bad, it was one of the best days in my life. It's that to me, the DVD is so good that I can't get enough of it. The band plays perfectly, the connection with the crowd is real, the choice of songs is fantastic, the sound is epic, the transitions that go along with songs, including colors, angles and views of the crowd and the band are nothing but exciting and bright. If there's any DVD I would ever recommend, it's this one. It's the closest you'll come to live the Coldplay experience if you haven't got the chance to live it already.

Not only is the music CD great, but the DVD packs quite the punch. The only tiny thing that bugged me was how the CD didn't have every song off of the DVD, but I guess that's what makes the DVD that much better. If you like Coldplay, but this DVD, you will not regret it. Best $20 musical purchase I've made in a long time.
Normally, we call it march in. I feel wedding can be a very special one when the wedding couple dances into the ballroom rather than the normal march in.
My cousin had his wedding and surprisingly, there was this segment when he danced with his bride.
The dance served as an entertainment for us too.
Soon after, other guests joined them and we had our first dance too. The aisle was packed with dancing couples.
Even my aunties and uncles who are already in their sixties joined in too.
