Art, Music and Literature Based Communities
What drives people? Some may say inspiration, our ambitions and needs; this is not very far from saying that people are driven by the inspiration provided by art and music as well as by the need to quench our literary thirst. For most people reading a book, watching a movie or listening to their favorite music isn't enough of an experience, the most important part is to interact and get validation from people with the same interests about our point of views and opinions.
It is often said that every individual is different, this remains true in many aspects however when it comes to topics such as Art, music and literature we all have something in common, our tastes as far as music may concur with someone else's but our interests in literature could differ. Validation and the exchange of ideas is what makes the web so popular, every site built provides ideas which are meant to be validated by people, without this basic interaction the entire concept of the web is defeated.
People interested in art, music literature, etc. have taken advantage of the web to create communities focused on sharing their thoughts regarding these topics, for instance some may consider "Five for Fighting - 100 years" as much as a piece of musical art as "Pachebel's - Canon", some may definitively disagree as both pieces belong to different genres, one has vocals the other is solely instrumental; small differences in the perception of art is what triggers reactions on which entire communities come together and share their ideas regarding the topic being discussed.
The same can be said of literature, for some Romeo and Juliet is without a doubt one of the most beautiful pieces of romantic literature ever written, however the language used may not have the same effect in contemporary readers as it won't convey the emotions it did back then; so it is to say that the power of such piece has diluted through time. In order to recreate such excellent work actors and writers come together and work in such play, however what matters is how people perceive their work and how emotions are conveyed through professional acting, again small differences trigger a sea of reviews and opinions which is better expressed in online interactions.
For most of us free speech is the ultimate work of art, as it allows us to express our thoughts through any medium without worrying of censorship, taking advantage of the tools and resources available to express our thoughts is without a doubt the most precious right.
MorbidBeauties.com provides access to an entire community of individuals whose interests revolve around gothic culture. Interact with people interested in art at the gothic forum, visit us today and create a gothic profile!

dj latin musicVaginal Itching - Just Itching To Itch
Vaginal itching - How many women have found them self in a situation where the urge to relieve an itch around their private parts becomes so unbearable that they had to leave the room to relieve the urge (scratch) so not to cause embarrassment to them self or that of others in their company. Remember ladies that trying to disguise the discomfort by tightening the legs to squeeze the life out of the vaginal itch is not the best approach to claim relief. If you attempt this course of action then there is a strong possibility that an onlooker may see you as doing the rumba, which is not really an acceptable image of yourself if standing in a bus queue.
An itchy vagina can become painful if the skin around the affected area is rubbed red raw through clawing. A tingling sensation and irritation of the skin around the vagina.(vulva) is how the condition is described Not only is vaginal itching annoying it tempts the patient to scratch with aggression. Hygiene is profound; the hands should be cleaned before scratching and after. Dirty finger nails that tear the skin cause infection.
Causes behind vaginal itching are varied but most common known are chemical irritants contained in certain products. Content based chemicals that come in contact with the skin which encourage irritation are detergents, fabric softeners, feminine sprays, ointments, douches, contraceptive foams or jellies.
One recognized symptom of vaginal yeast infection is a discharge - white in colour and curd-like texture. Known yeast infection causers are antibiotics, birth control tablets, menstruation, pregnancy and diabetes, even condom use and sexual intercourse. However use a condom when engaging in sex. A weak immune system can make you susceptible to infection.
Vaginitis means inflammation of the vagina, should you suffer from the disorder then cause can be blamed on the presence of an infection. Noticeable changes in your discharge i.e. smell and colour, burning feeling in the vagina, discomfort when urinating or during sex are all symptoms of vaginitis. A common cause is thrush infection (a fungus -candida albicans).
Stress can increase vaginal itching making you more prone to infection. A drop in estrogen causes thinning of the vaginal wall and less lubrication while going through the menopause. Vaginal itching can occur from one of the many named causes, however, determining which cause is important so the appropriate medication is prescribed. A rare reason for vaginal/vulva itch include: pin-worms, pin-worms more often than not are parasites more known to affect children.
Keep the genital area clean and dry. Use unscented soap when washing. Make sure smellies used to bathe in (bubble bath) contain no irritants. Avoid perfumed feminine sprays and douches unless packaging states otherwise.
Cotton knickers are safer to wear than panties made from synthetic materials. Cleanse your self by wiping from front to back after using the toilet (vagina to anus).
It is easier said than done but do try to avoid scratching, scratching can aggravate. Even more difficult for some is to ration the passion, abstain from sexual encounters until the symptoms disappear. Yeast infections are not directed towards being sexually transmitted. The yeast infection is also known to affect men following sexual contact causing itching and redness.
Despite what you believe may be the right medication bought from the chemist to treat you`re infection, it is best to consult a doctor first. Seek medical advice if you notice signs of vaginal bleeding when not menstruating, swelling or detect a repulsive vaginal odor. A burning sensation when urinating or other urinary symptoms may be urinary tract infection. Antifungal drugs are normally prescribed for yeast infections.
Antibiotics in most cases are prescribed for bacterial vaginal infections and some sexually transmitted diseases, however, if protection is used it lessens the odds of catching an STD and also an unwanted pregnancy of which will definitely highlight the vagina for the next nine months.

Girls on Bass
At last female bass players are emerging! As a male bass player and music teacher I'd like to present some of my observations regarding the emergence of female bass players over the past 32 years. (That's how long I've been teaching music).
In 1976 there was hardly a female bass player in sight. This applied across the board, in any music genre. Things were changing, however, in all walks of life. Emancipation of both males and females was a priority in many minds. Especially art forms were undergoing the (r)evolution instigated in a huge way in the 1960s, and music was a driving voice.
The bass guitar had only been commercially available for about twenty years - just one generation. It is a lot less cumbersome than the double bass, and apparently more suited to petite hands. The double bass, however, after being set up correctly, is only slightly more physically demanding. Both instruments fulfill the same function in almost all musics: to provide the centre of rhythm and pitch.
My main comparative observation - so far - has been that females intuitively have a superior sense of both rhythm and pitch (sorry guys). That's a killer combination, because the result is usually melodic bass playing (I'm in heaven!).
In my teaching, I've gone from zero female bass students to about 15%, which roughly equates to the real world of music performance and recording. I would love to see this percentage increase dramatically - because I love bass and I know what girls on bass can do.
Besides being an innovative and highly respected music educator, George Urbaszek plays double bass, guitar, bass guitar and bassitar. He has over 3000 performances and 120 recording sessions to his credit and has toured Australia, Central Europe, Canada, USA and the Pacific Islands.
George has performed with artists ranging from Rolf Harris through to Judith Durham, Beccy Cole, Marina Prior, George Washingmachine, Thelma Housten and the New York production of Porgy and Bess. His former students include Brendan Clarke (winner of the Australian National Jazz Award), Kim Khahn (Robbie Williams, Mel C, Natalie Imbruglia) and Rory Quirk (John Butler Trio).
After lecturing for thirteen years in the Jazz Department of the Australian National University, George is now residing near Byron Bay, Australia, where he works from home teaching students from all over the world using an innovative approach of step-by-step online bass lessons. These lessons cost as little as US $3.46 each and are available at http://www.creativebasslessons.com
dance music cdGipsy Kings Fuego! The Videos
Now, I am by no means a 'guru'. I like to think of myself as more of a 'reporter'. I hear what's going on, I research information and then I tell what I have learned. So, with that being said, I wanted to dive right in to this topic.
Marketing, as told by one of my mentors to me, is: "The art of inspiring and empowering others based on their wants, needs and desires, not your own." When I think of art, my mind visualizes beautiful sculptures, colorful canvases and breath-taking musical compositions. So when I visualize marketing as an art, I can almost see the transformation of lives.
Marketing is like a dance. You move in patterns, flowing with the music. In order to flow seamlessly, you must have a lead and then a partner. The lead guides their partner in a step-by-step sequence to achieve the essence of the music. It is almost romantic. Of course, Marketing is business-oriented, but there is a rhythm, a pattern, a sequence, to it.
When you begin Marketing for your business, you need to put the focus on other people first. As you focus on other people first, you begin to see what they need. You begin to hear what they are really saying. And, you begin to feel what their dreams mean to them. And, then the dance begins.
Now, take a moment and envision in your mind, a couple, dancing. Next time you watch Dancing With The Stars (for example), watch the way they dance together. Understand the hours of practice it took to get to the point that you are watching them, at that moment. Realize the mistakes that were made during countless rehearsals. Know that you will not always dance well right off the bat, but the more you Market, the better you become at it.
No one starts Marketing on Day One and can appear on Dancing With The Stars..NO ONE. I hope that you get what I am saying here. Sometimes, I see things in my mind and they don't always translate well in to words. :)
Now, let's move on to Advertising. The majority of us know advertising as commercials, advertisements, billboards, etc. An advertisement is a quick "LOOK HERE NOW" approach to relaying your message to others. I want to keep in alignment with the dancing here, so think of this: Have you ever watched a tap dance competition between two individuals? Tap-tap-tap-tip... goes the first person. Tap-tap-tap-tip-tip goes the second. It is more of a "here it is" type of action. That is what advertising is like.
Now, in order to balance out your marketing efforts, it is actually important to use both Marketing and Advertising for your business. Not everyone feels like doing the "Tango" at that moment you meet them. Perhaps they are more of the 'tap-tap' personality. When you use both methods, you reach a broader audience. You bring more people in to your Marketing Funnel.
What is a Marketing Funnel? Basically, a quick answer is, you bring lots of people to your website, and you market to them. Those that want to 'dance' will stay in the funnel longer. Those that do not, will move on. By having a Marketing Funnel, you are able to build a relationship with those people and get to know more about their wants, needs and desires. And, this usually leads to repeat 'sales' from customers as well. It can also lead to referrals and conversions (Tap-Dancers to Tango Partners).
So, anyway, I hope that I gave you a glimpse as to what the difference between Marketing and Advertising is, and how both are important to your online business. One thing I have been taught is to take one task at a time, get good at it and then move on to adding another. The same applies to advertising and marketing. Start with one method and work at it until you are comfortable enough to move on. This will benefit you in the long run, so there is no need to try to tap dance your way through the Tango. :)

One of the more striking aspects of the Beijing Opera is the Masks and Facial Make-up used to portray the various characters in a production. The use of symbolic colors, stylized lines, and fantastical facial exaggeration all serve the performance magic and grandeur. There is really nothing that compares to a skillful and artistic rendition of one of China's favorite stories from historical events and classical literature.
The current Beijing Opera originated from a combination of several sources. In 1790, the four great theatre groups from Anhui came to perform for the Royal Family. They used the traditional melodies and aria called Xi Pi. Around 1828, performers from Hubei joined them to form a combined troupe adding their own music called Er Huang. Thousands of pieces were performed regaling great tales of historic events and popular literature as well as their own versions of Western stories.
There have been scholarly discussions concerning the origins of Chinese theatrical mask wearing and face painting. A widely held theory is that face painting developed from the dances called " Lanlingwang (Prince Lanling)" from the Tang Dynasty (A.D. 618-907).
Another possible origin of this practice is rooted in the ancient use of Masks and Make-up in religious ceremonies, particularly exorcisms. There are examples of artwork that show shamans and other actors with stylized painted faces. Upon closer examination, these look very much like the early used of face painting and mask wearing in the Chinese opera theatre.
There is an old saying from the Song (960-1279) and Yuan (1271-1368) dynasties that was, "Shentou guimian", or "masks for Gods, make-up for ghosts." It meant that to play a god you must wear a mask, but to play a ghost all you needed was to slap some paint on your face. This followed the idea that gods were sacred and it would be sacrilegious, perhaps even dangerous, to portray them, whereas ghosts, the embodiment of disease, poverty and evil were not subject to such respect. Craftsmen who carved Deity masks believed that as soon as the eyes were carved out of a piece of art, it then became animated with the spirit of the gods.
Over time, actors began to think that it was less a sin to portray gods and spirits on the stage instead of in temples and palaces. They started to favor make-up over the stoic solid masks in performance. This allowed for more expression over the "dead face" of a mask to the "live face" of paints and dyes.
For the longest time, performers took great liberty in their choice of paint methods and colors. Later, during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) did there become some conventions and standards. An agency called Shengpingshu (Shengping Agency) was in charge of the affairs of opera performance. They established painting of more than 200 of the current operas with detailed instructions on the character make-up patterns. This became the official standard for face painting.
There are four basic categories of characters in the standard Beijing Opera.
SHENG - Male roles
DAN - Female Roles
CHOU - Comedy roles
JING - Painted face males
Jing, usually males, are the roles with facial painting representing warriors, heroes, statesmen, adventurers, and demons. Jing are found in three basic categories: Zhengjing, Fujing, and Wujing.
The JING roles are more known for courage and resourcefulness than for intelligence. Sometimes a High-ranking General or Warrior/General they usually have a swagger and great self-assurance. There are many common color schemes associated with Jing roles but some have more convention and are easily recognizable.
The compositions of face painting are classified into several patterns based on the belief that a person's face can reveal much about their personality. The overall designs of the face painting are given names like, "three-tiles face", "six-tenths face", "cross face", "slant face", "butterfly face" as well as many, many others.
The colors used on a Jing actors face have symbolic meaning.
RED - Good character, heroic
WHITE - Sneaky and treacherous
GREEN - Rash, lacking self-control
BLACK - Brusque character
BLUE - Wild nature, a robber or thief
GOLD/SILVER - Used only for Gods and Spirits
There are two main types of facial decorations in Chinese Opera: Masks and Facial Painting. Sometimes there are many changes of masks and make-up (even some without the audience's knowledge), this is called Changing Faces. It is a difficult technique that is only mastered after many years of serious and extensive training. This is sometimes used to display the feelings of a character or change the energy of the particular scene. Facial changes for sudden emotional changes are usually done in four ways:
BLOWING DUST - The actor blows black dust concealed in his palm so that it blows back into his face.
MANIPULATING BEARD - Beard colors can be changed while the beard is being moved from black to gray to white showing anger or excitement.
PULLING DOWN MASKS - The actor can pull down a mask that has been sitting on top of his head to communicate a special emotional change.
MOP - The actor mops out the greasepaint hidden in his sideburns or eyebrows to change his facial appearance.
The colorful and flamboyant Jing characters of Beijing Opera theatre with the Beijing Opera Mask as well as facial make-up are enduring part of this very exquisite and beautiful art form. Audiences around the world marvel at the technical virtuosity as well as the austerity of the productions in this symbolic Chinese cultural event.

Do you ever remember your folks or grandparents telling you; "it takes two to tango," meaning that there must be more to the story and more fault of the circumstance to spread around. Often, it was a notification that they were not buying the total story and that the blame ought to be spread around a little bit more. Well, the other day, I got thrown out of McDonalds; why you ask?
Well for food-fighting, but I swear that the guy threw nothing back at me, indeed, the manager did not buy it, and threw us both out. Boy was that guy mad at me, I started and he never threw anything back at me, but the manager throws us both out and said; "It takes two to tango!"
Indeed, it usually takes two to tango, but in reality it was not a food-fight anyway, as the gentleman was simply reading his newspaper and never responded. Now that is a funny true story, but have you ever wondered why it takes two to tango? Let me recommend a book that is quite good and will completely clear this up for you:
"Gotta Tango" by Alberto Paz and Valorie Hart - 2004
This is a really cool book which will teach you dance the Tango in true Argentina style and it comes with a music DVD with music to assist you in feeling the moment. The book is full of subtle tricks to create passion, emotion, and sexy alluring moves. You will be blown away as to just how good you can get using this book. Are you looking for pure romance and learning expert style in the Tango? Look no further, this is it.

latin music lyricsViva La Vida
Coldplay release their fourth album "Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends" on Parlophone. The album comprises 10 brand new tracks, recorded in London, Barcelona and New York with producers Brian Eno and Markus Dravs. "Viva La Vida" follows the hugely successful album "X&Y", which has sold 10 million copies since its release in 2005.Customer Review: Why did they paint on the Delacroix?
As with most all uber-hyped pop albums, this one doesn't go deep and raw enough to be fantastic (if it did, it would make too many enemies). However as chart toppers go, this one is straight from the heart, and will remain on my playlist for a long time. Chris Martin singing 'you didn't get to heaven, but you made it close/you didn't get to heaven, but you aaa.... (almost?)' is hard to forget. all songs have a crunchy revolutionary anthem feel that fits Martin like an old leather coat. One that i'll be wearing for a while.
Customer Review: If it wasn't so overhyped, I might be less critical...
Coldplay is good. They're better than most. Most rap, most country, most rock and DEFINITELY most pop. But Viva la Vida is extremely overexposed, and Coldplay have long been riding a tidal wave of mediocrity over the heads of the consumers. Regarding their most recent release, the lyrics are interesting, the melodies pretty, the songs epic in scope, but rather pedestrian when all the synthesizers are stripped away. Chris Martin has a nice voice, but not an inspiring one. But, then again, the same might be said about U2, and look what they've accomplished. At least Coldplay aren't a ripoff (well, yes, they do bear more than a passing nod to U2, but I mean ripoff in the "you've been robbed" kind of way)...at worst you might feel like you spent too much on the CD - you won't be wondering why you bought it in the first place. I probably wouldn't be so critical had I not been expecting considerably more from their new CD. The song "Viva la Vida" was stuck in my head by about the fifth time I saw the stupid iTunes commercial. It's arranged in a way to make it a depaparture from typical pop/rock drivel, and I like its bass pulse: solid without being bombastic. Nice layering of sounds, but it sounds canned overall. There are a couple of tunes that sound like they borrowed a page from Sgt. Pepper (but who HASN'T borrowed a page from Sgt. Pepper?), and a few that suggest to me a hasty trip from concept to final mix. HOWEVER, if you think I'm being overly critical, you should hear my rants about 99.9999999% of the rest of the music that I have been subjected to and tortured with over the years. Overall, I'm pleased by Coldplay's latest. I give it 7 points for every single track being worthy of repeated listens, 1 point for the single "Viva la Vida" having the incredible capacity to get stuck in your head, minus 2 points for the CD as a whole not living up to the hype, but I'm giving those 2 points back as extra credit for still being better than most of what else the recording industry attempts to shove down our throats. 80%. That's a solid B. Good effort.

It takes place at different locations in the South Beach area and raises money for the Florida International University hospitality program.
So, you'll be enjoying fantastic food prepared by celebrity chefs as well as local cooks doing cooking demonstrations. You'll also be tasting wine, and you'll be contributing to a good cause. Life doesn't get much better.
March
You'll want to hit the Irish pubs and enjoy Irish food, Irish music, and Irish libations in Miami when everyone celebrates St. Patrick's Day.
If you're into electronic and dance music, hit South Beach for the Winter Music Conference, which attracts DJs as well as musicians. You can also get an education on the music business at seminars during the conference. Just into partying and dancing? They're all around you at Lummus Beach, local parks and local clubs.
Want a break from partying but don't want to necessarily get too heavy? The Miami International Film Festival spans ten days and showcases films from local filmmakers as well as filmmakers from around the world in a variety of different genres. It's held in various venues around the city.
July
The Fourth of July is another fantastic time to be in Miami. Each Independence Day celebration brings live music at Bayfront Park along with fireworks.
August and September The International Ballet Festival began in 1995 and it's been taking center stage at different venues, including the Jackie Gleason Theater, during August and September. A lot of extraordinary dancers are involved. It's presented by the Miami Hispanic Ballet Company and has received acclaim throughout the media and is appreciated by everyone.
October The International Caribbean Music Festival, held in Bicentennial Park, is an event that celebrates one of the many cultures that makes Miami what it is. You'll love the mood and the music that's performed by musicians from throughout the Caribbean.
December A rather unusual event, the King Mango Strut, takes place shortly after Christmas. It's a parade that's a parody of the Orange Bowl Parade and current events. It follows a route down Main Avenue and Grand Avenue in Coconut Grove. Catch it if you can.

Latin dancing is viewed as an energetic, sensual type of dance and is one of the most difficult types of dances to learn properly. Individuals that are interested in learning Latin dancing methods should obtain the assistance of a qualified professional dance instructor for their teaching to ensure that they are learning the dance steps properly and do not harm themselves during the process.
Latin dancing is typically faster paced than traditional ballroom dances and the steps for the dances tend to be more intricate. Individuals that choose to learn this type of dancing soon find that some of the moves can be physically challenging and requires the individual to exert a moderate amount of energy to perform. Latin dancing lessons provide the individual with a great cardiovascular workout while teaching the individual stamina and coordination as well.
There are several different types of Latin dancing that are commonly requested by individuals interested in taking lessons with a professional dance instructor. These dances include the Salsa, the Cha Cha, the Mambo, the Rumba, and the Tango. Each of these dances has different steps and rhythms associated with them, although the general pace of the dances remains the same. Most professional dance instructors know how to perform several of these dances.
In some cases, the steps of the Latin dances can be modified to fit the rhythm of popular modern songs, greatly adding to the occasions where the individual can use what they have learned during the lesson. Many individuals that are interested in Latin dancing lessons would like to display what they have learned at a formal party such as a wedding reception and welcome the ability to model the pace of the dance after the pace of their favorite songs. Some couples choose to use the steps that they have learned during their Latin dancing lessons for their first dance as man and wife, to the delight of the spectators that attend the reception.
Learning the steps that are incorporated into Latin dancing takes time and dedication on the part of the person learning the dance. This is why many of the individuals that decide that they would like to learn this type of dancing enlist the assistance of a professional dance instructor. The dance instructor will provide the individual with as many or as few lessons that the individual needs to reach the level of dancing that they desire.
Obtaining the help of a professional dance instructor when learning Latin dancing is a good idea for another reason as well. A professional dance instructor can help the individual modify any of the dance steps or motions that the individual finds to physically challenging to perform. This way, the person will not hurt themselves attempting to do movements that they are not physically able to perform.
